Prices and figures
How we update prices
What the numbers on this site mean, where they come from and how often they change.
The catalog was last updated on October 10, 2026. If a figure here and the one at checkout differ, the checkout is right.
What we update, and how often
We update prices, and which supply sizes are on offer, on a schedule, several times a month. A product that stops being offered leaves the site at the next update and comes back by itself when it returns. Prices on this site are the figures from our last update, not a promise.
How the cost of a month is worked out
The cost per month is the pack price divided by the number of monthly doses the pack holds: a 12-month box at its price, split into twelve. For the holding tank products the same sum runs per treatment, from the number of treatments the bottle or box names. A year of doses on the home page adds up the 12-month supply of each form, or the cheapest set of smaller packs where no 12-month pack is on offer.
What stays the same between updates
Doses, tank sizes and directions belong to the product, not to a price, so they change only when the product changes. We print each one only where the pack or the product data of that item gives it.
Ratings
Star ratings and their counts are the ones buyers gave each product family. Where one product comes in two supply sizes under one family, the family is counted once.
Sources
Our guides cite the EPA, the extension services of Penn State, the University of Minnesota, Washington State University, the University of Kentucky and the University of Arizona, the Washington State Department of Health, the CDC, the CPSC and America's Poison Centers. We open and read each source before we quote it, and the date we read it is printed beside it. The rules we follow when we describe the Rid-X lineup are written up in our editorial policy.
