What a year of doses looks like in each box
A 12-month supply is the same monthly dose bought once instead of twelve times. In Rid-X pods that means a box of 12 pouches, each one a 3.2 oz month. The powder version holds 117.6 oz in six packs, and every 19.6 oz pack covers two months, so you open a fresh pack every other month. Platinum reaches a year with two 6-month bottles of 48 fl oz each, poured at the marked dose.
Before you order a year at once, decide where the box will live. Twelve doses sit in your house for twelve months, so keep them closed, stored high, away from children and pets, and used the way the label says. Write the start month on the lid and tick off each dose as it goes. The box doubles as a calendar for the tank, too. Inspections come at least every three years on the EPA's septic care page, so the first day of every third box is a natural moment to book one.
| Supply | In the box | Monthly doses | One month's dose |

| Pods, 12-month | 12 pouches of 3.2 oz | 12 | One whole pouch |
| Powder, 12-month | 117.6 oz in six packs of 19.6 oz | 12, two per pack | 9.8 oz, half a pack |
| Platinum, 12-month | Two 6-month bottles of 48 fl oz | 12, six per bottle | The dose marked on the bottle |

Questions
Rid-X 12-month supply: what you ask
How many doses do you get in a Rid-X 12-month supply?
Twelve, one for each month, whichever form you buy. The pod box holds 12 pouches. The powder box holds six packs of 19.6 oz, with two doses in each. Platinum comes as two 6-month bottles of 48 fl oz, six months to a bottle.
Can a 12-month Rid-X supply save you a pump-out?
No. A year of doses covers twelve monthly flushes and nothing else. Inspection still comes at least every three years by the EPA's septic care page, and household pump-outs typically every three to five. The maker's own fine print sells the doses for use along with occasional pumping.
Where should you keep a year's supply of Rid-X?
In its closed original box or bottle, stored up high where children and pets cannot get at it. A pod is a small dissolvable pouch, so treat the box the way you would treat laundry packets. If anyone swallows a dose, call Poison Help at 1-800-222-1222.
